I can’t say they’re absolutely LYING to me … but hard to believe ANY firm the size of a Honeywell …. can be having soooo many customer problems that they cannot answer a telephone line!! The lie they tell, I suspect, is that “customer service reps are assisting other customers” etc. etc. and “Thank you for continuuing to hold” ….. Truth is there must be no one even answering calls ….. !!! Why can’t they simply say outright, “the customer service lines are closed. Please call back between ….. and …. for service” I had only a very simple question, and yet they can’t even take five minutes to respond. Just saying ….. Thing is … if they will tell bald-faced lies about something so simple …. what ELSE are they lying about????The device works well, so far. Has been installed for 24 hours and appears to be functioning well. The very simple question I had was in interpreting a portion of the display. Would have taken five minutes or less to have dealt with. But … now … they’ve created a very bad impression …. for such an easily dealt-with question, and exposed how little regard they have for their customers. Bad show people!!!ADDENDUM: Came back to also report that in about 48 hours, I have not been able to contact ANYONE associated with this brand name!!! Went through several avenues of contact (EXCLUDING EMAIL, which I find of no use in present circumstances. Given their prsent performance, I have little faith that they’d respond to any email either!!)) all to no avail. Clearly these people have no intention of providing live asssistance to customers, including their so-called ‘live chat”. No response there either.
