This product was uploaded on BUYER BEWARE: In our application we purchased this wifi thermostat so that we could use it at a 2nd home in Northern Wisconsin. Temps dip well below freezing there, but we are able to turn the heat up before we leave and the house will be warm by the time we arrive. There’s just one big problem. The lowest set point for this thermostat is 50 degrees. If it is single digits outside, I would prefer the house sit at 38-40 degrees for stretches in the winter when we are away for weeks at a time. Can you imagine the waste of energy and money it is by only allowing the lowest temp setting to be 50 degrees? Also, the wifi setup was awful, took 2-3 hours of messing around to get the thermostat connected to a device (had to bring up a Samsung tablet from home). I would not connect for anything to either my wife’s or my Google Pixel 2. Not a great experience for us, especially the wasted time involved..
